I happened upon this cricket during our move. He sat there most of the day. Maybe he enjoyed the modeling! Or maybe he was too terrified to move along. 😉
I was up north shooting, trying to beat the storm coming in. A crow happened to land on the stop sign near me, and he turned into one of my better shots of the day.
This elephant seal pup was hanging out north of Cambria. I love to go see them when the babies are born. Their squeaky litle barks are pretty funny, but by this time next year, they’ll sound more like the big boys.
I found these mushrooms in Morro Bay. They had been opened up by a rainstorm. Beautiful!
